To describe someone once as Depressed used to be a sleight on said person.

These days the stigma is not so great- Although for men it still carries much weight. Therefore they need much more encouragement, often from loved ones, to approach professional help OR for that matter, their spiritual help from clergy, etc.

Naturopathically, effective Natural weightloss must touch upon mental health issues to be fully effective for the longterm.
Whether the weight gain itself depresses one OR depression causes the weight gain is TOTALLY immaterial ALTHOUGH IF mental illness runs in the family of the weight afflicted person this issue must be VERY EFFECTIVELY treated(See our Jupiter-of-black-mustard-JOBM)along with a workable dietary & exercise plan.
And so it is this genetic trait of Familial depression which becomes the REAL limiting factor AND ABSOLUTELY MUST BE EFFECTIVELY RELEASED AT THE CELL LEVEL for the cells to begin responding.
Physiologically we have found that the individual can exercise, they can diet, they can almost starve themselves AND nothing ‘weight-wise’ moves at all. This is where our JOBM works THE BEST.

We have found that the total hormonal system AND the metabolism becomes blocked, not able to respond APPROPRIATELY to normal weight loss stimuli.

As our diagram above suggests in the upper RHS orange section, the head-mind (Cleared by our JOBM capsules) tends to want to dominate our physiolgy. Once it does this thru depression, etc then it robs the body of most of its resources almost acting like a ‘parasite’, robbing the body of vital energy or PRANA to do its normal housekeeping.

This 3 mind model we have developed suggests our the head-mind definitely wants to DOMINATE the physical cells thus burning-off energy vital for normal bodily function.

More soon.(We hope you enjoy our diagram above.. IT truly is a labor of love for us!)

A nearly 800 strong study suggests that obese teenage girls may be more likely
than their thinner peers to develop depression or anxiety disorders as adults.
Teenagers followed for 20 years, girls who were obese as teens had a roughly
four-times higher risk of clinical depression or anxiety disorders in adulthood.
But there was no such link among boys.

In an allied study, Adult obesity is known to raise the risk of a number of health problems such as type 2 diabetes and heart disease. For children, though, the most immediate consequences of obesity are often emotional and social, like not being accepted by their peers.
It’s not clear from this study why obese teenage girls had a higher risk of mental health problems later in life.
But based on other research, social stigmatization and teasing may play a role in some cases.
It also makes sense that girls would be more vulnerable than boys. Girls and women face more social pressure to be thin, and at any weight, girls tend to have a poorer body image than their male counterparts do. Still, more research is needed to understand the reasons for the link between teen obesity and subsequent depression and anxiety in girls.

The findings are based on 776 boys and girls who were between the ages of 9 and
18 when they entered the study in 1983. Over the next 20 years, they were
assessed three times for major depression and anxiety. In general, the risk of
these disorders was higher among girls who were obese between the ages of 12
and 18, even when other factors, such as family income, parents’ education and
parents’ history of emotional problems, were taken into account. Teenagers who
are concerned about their weight, or about any depression or anxiety symptoms,
should talk to their parents or another trusted adult.

It has come to our attention of late that the link between depression & obesity has been sorely missing for some years.

Yes some studies have shown mild links here but have been unsure as to whether the depression is the CAUSE of the obesity OR the result of obesity.
So cause & effect being unclear, at best, then seems to have confounded researchers & therefore clouded reasonable attacks on this connection & therefore treatments.

It is our contention that the role of depression can severely limit one’s battle with the bulge IF it is not dealt with effectively.

Indeed we would suggest that upto 51% of the obese ARE obese BECAUSE they’re depressed!

More very very soon

At any given time One in Six Australian men will suffer depression.

Australian Women are twice as likely to suffer this illness than their msale counterparts and tends to occur in younger than older women.

The youth of Today suffer depression at a much earlier age than their grandparents ever did. (Some sources quote down from the age of 30 to 15 yrs old today. )

Once upon a time it was largely an issue in the mentally disturbed, the aged, the diseased & the incarcerated.

In youth, Depression & Anxiety are THE MOST common mental illnesses by far (Although some would argue that this ’state-of-mind’ is a perpetual state of just being teenager)

20% of the young will have a significant mental health event by maturity.

Around 5% of the young experience depression severe enough to warrant medical intervention.

Apart from the recognised Social & body-image issues, women tend to be more prone to depression & anxiety due to the hormonal fluctuations Doctors describe as seen in Post Natal depression, Pre-menstrual disorder AND Menopausal issues.

Australin Males are 4x more likely to take their depression thru to suicide than our Women.

Risk factors for men above the age of 65 to suicide are Isolation, pain, illness & death of a spouse.

In the past 3 decades the youth suicide rate for 15-25 yo males has trebled.

STUNNING stuff I’m sure you’ll agree.

One of THE GREATEST UNSUNG aspects of the obese & their struggle with their weight lies in the Mental AND Emotional aspects to this issue.

Indeed one could also argue about the issues of Addiction, Depresssion & Obesity connections as well.

So, if we’re going to argue about these ideas we should first come up with basic definitions so we know what we’re all agruing/discussing in the first place.

So here goes:

Major depressive disorder or simply ‘Depression’, is a mental disorder characterized by a pervasive low mood, loss of interest in one’s usual activities and diminished ability to experience pleasure. When severe, thoughts of suicide are not uncommon often bourne out of an ability for one to consider that they ‘are-stiuck’ in the now AND cannot even distantly consider ‘a-tomorrow’ at all.

Diagnosis is made if a person has suffered one or more major depressive events. The onset is usually in early- to mid-adulthood & diagnosis is based on the patient’s self-reported experiences and observed behavior.
There is no laboratory test for major depression, although Doctors often test for physical conditions, such as hormonal or Thyroid disorders, infections (such as HIV or Spyhilis) or even Epilepsy patterns are tested for that may cause similar symptoms before arriving at a diagnosis.

The course of illness often varies widely in that it can be a once-in-a-lifetime event or have multiple recurrences. Further, it can appear either gradually or suddenly; and can either last for a few months or be a life-long disorder.

The energy from subterranian watercourses can also interact with the energies of each of the energy grids AND hence our own Life force or Prana.

Where sleep is disturbed from this influence alone, we get issues of waking up feeling drained, lethargic & poor energy all day. Sleep does NOT refresh for these folk.

However it is possible for very dangerous places to be sleeping in. They are where two water veins intersect, or/and where water intersects with the Curry grid OR indeed with the Curry line on top of the Hartmann, and the water veins as well, as overlays.

I once had a ‘death-defying’ health disturbance by sleeping over this sort of combination energy for 2 weeks about 6 years ago.
I just could NOT get comfortable. For 5 days I tossed & turned constantly. Then on the 6th night I got a MASSIVE DOSE or Diarhea WITH Pain, Bloating, AND shakes & Shivers…. Literally ‘I-thought-I-was-going-to DIE’!!!
I later learned that the man who once lived there, AND slept in the same location, DIED OF AGGRESSIVE PROSTATE CANCER!!

Hmmm, makes-you-think.

After 2 days AND nights of feeling ‘near-death’ IT FINALLY ‘dawned upon me’… Shift your Bed, Glen!!! A shift of only about 1.4 metres SAVED-MY-LIFE.(I* jest* not*)
So, in part, I now can countenance the absolute-terror of what it must be like for those poor souls who die of diseases such as Cholera & the like…. Horrible.

Yes folks, the following bespeaks of Lunacy.

The word Lunacy itself stems from the observation of the phases of the Moon (Lunar influence) on ‘Human Bahaviour’.

We have mentioned elsewhere in these blogs, & thru my own 26 yrs in Naturopathic research, that A.D.D.-DNA is characterised via the influence of Radiation upon cells. Indeed to put a spiritual slant upon things, ADD folk have been ‘wiped-out’ in previous lives by either a nuclear blast OR ill-effects of Nuclear-fallout. This then predisposes the individual in this life to be sensitive to all forms of radiation, yes, even Lunar Radiation.

Further in esoteric literature, the moon has been described as the ‘Lord-of-the mind’. Perhaps this alludes to the connection between ADD folk and their disposition toward Mental based illness thru Lunar influences… Lunacy!

Have you ever heard of the saying that: "There’s a fine line between Genius and insanity". Well, this describes ADD folk perfectly. Why? ‘Cos the latest research by one Dr.Amen from the USA, who tells us that tthe vast bulk of ADD folk have ABOVE-NORMAL-IQ, and not below.
So put together the IQ(Genius) & ADD DNA radiation sensitivity, gives us a perfect description of a portion of these folk.

It’s very hard to get much information on this topic because largely it’s Taboo. Mental illness amongst humans seems just-too-unspeakable.

However all you gotta do is talk to Nurses who operate ‘Psyche wards’ in Hospitals or mental institutions about the behaviour of their charges in the full moon? You got it. The inmates become much more animated, ‘off-the-wall’ and more difficult to manage thru this period.

Jets have proved a remarkable conveyance modality since the second world war for one & all..

However VERY FEW have pondered what OTHER risks come with Jet airplane flight than the obvious risk of gravity when the engines fail.

Other than Airline-food, the other unsung risk to ones well-being in Jet air flight is THE RISK TO HIGH ENERGY RADIATION ill-effects.

Every Jet should exhibit a sign above the boarding-entrance saying ‘DANGER- RADIATION-RISK’… Enter at your own risk.
Why should this be a condition of entry to jet flight? Simple.
The higher one goes in elevation above sea level the ’thinner’ the atmosphere, the greater one is exposed to Cosmic rays from deep space.

Yes, yes, yes I know Boeing and others do their best to shield the occupants during design of aircraft to this risk however, other than lining the fuselage in lead then YOU are being bombarded from these particles from deep space.
So how many Jets would get airborne lined in Lead? ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Therefore given what we already know about the ill-effects of radiation being cumulative, then IF YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST FLY, do it infrequently.

More soon.

If you’ve read much of this site already you’ll know my views on Radiation of all forms. But yes Microwave ovens are the worst common hazard in the home toward the depletion of your life-force or Prana.

The following is a statistical analysis on the link between microwave ovens AND obesity… Stunning!!.

"Professor Jane Wardle says obesity rates started to rise soon after 1984 – around the time of the rapid spread of microwave ownership. In 1980, 8% of women and 6% of men were classified as obese. By 2004 this had increased to 24% of men and women….Professor Wardle who is professor of clinical psychology at University College London said: ‘I looked at the figures showing rates of obesity in the population over many years and it seem very clear it began between 1984 and 1987. So then we looked at what changes were going on in the food and activity world at that time and one of the striking changes was there were differences in the speed with which we could prepare a meal as a consequence of the introduction of microwaves." June 2007.

At least now we have a strong statistical link between radiation and obesity.

Does this mean microwaves are the ONLY link to obesity?
Of course not. But it IS food to help make one think.

Did our ancestors ‘nuke’ their food? (As my 19 y.o. son puts-it in reference to reheating his food in microwave ovens)
Did they sit in radiation ’soaked’ environments exercising their thumbs playing video games in front of cathode ray tubes called TV’s?
Did they go to the shop for pre-prepared foods or did they go out into their garden to exercise their skill in raising/nurturing their food?

So not only is there a question between radiation leakage in microwave ovens and health BUT also the food, food taste AND nutrient depletion as well.

More soon.

After 26 years of Naturopathy AND treating almost all forms of illness naturally, we have observed there exists a pocket of 6% of humanity, now deemed ADD/ADHD, that will succumb to all forms radiation before the rest of humanity will AND Deep screen ‘Cathode ray tubes’ (CRT) in your TV/Old computer screen will definitely affect them.

The reason why these screens are so ‘deadly’ is because, essentially they fire high speed electrons from the rear of the CRT to the screen toward the front of the screen full of phosphors. The electrons excite the phosphors to produce colors OR PICTURES.

Now, a high degree of these excited electrons are not caught at the phosphor level BUT pass Through this and beyond to your face, eyes And upper thorax.

We’ve seen health issues such as foggy-brain/memory syndrome, eye damage to excite M.S.-type optic nerve damage, headaches, migraines, etc.

So once again radiation suppresses/damages cells therefore damages Prana therefore damages/weakens our cellular capacity to keep a healthy muscle to fat ratio.
