How can diuretics block Prana & hence add to obesity?

The underlying cause of this issue is extremely simple.

We are all told, from our mothers to our workmates, to our friends & even our sports coaches the importance of hydration. Indeed there has been a very important book written on this simple yet often overlooked topic. It's called "Your body's many cries for water" by batmanghelidj. Please consider it's purchase.

However, in overview,  as the human body is already some 70% water then then human body has incredibly complex feedback mechanisms to keep it's fluid metabolism in balance. We believe that medicine has little true understanding of the immense complexity of the Human-body's need to keep it's fluid homoeostasis complete.

Therefore when Man comes along & forces de-hydration thru the usage of diuretics a 'profound insult' is felt to the body's own fluid mechanisms & effectively is over-ridden by these type of drugs…BTW, we've found that even the use of Herbal diuretics can have profound life-force(Prana) imbalance properties if used for the long-term.

So again, short-term use mainly & not longterm use at all.

Indeed if you need to go on long-term diuretics, then may we respectfully suggest your therapist has no interest in treating the cause of your fluid issues ONLY YOUR SYMPTOMS.

Warmly Glen F Rees BSc, ND.
